The Forever Free Brumby Rescue & Lifetime Sanctuary has been created withe the aide of generous supporters and wildlife lovers.

It is the dream of many passionate Brumby advocates, to create a truly protected sanctuary for the Australian Heritage Wild Horses we have left.

The intention of our Forever Free Brumby Sanctuary (which is located in Bega, NSW Australia), is to ensure that the last of our Snowy Mountains Brumbies are protected, honoured, and kept safe from the bullets that have gunned down their family herds left in the Kosciuszko National Park.

These Heritage horses, are indeed the very last of the protected Australian Snowy Mountains Heritage Wild Horses left alive.

Rather than find themselves rehomed as domestic animals, these sanctuary horses will remain as close as possible to the free herds that once roamed the high country.

Living reminders of all that we have lost, loved and cared for - in our quest to save the beautiful, resilient, hardy and unique Snowy Mountains Brumbies.

In honour of all of those who have supported the cause, fought to save our Wild Heritage Horses, and protect them from the horrors experienced at the hands of bureaucrats and Government Agencies with hidden agendas - we continue to strive for justice, accountability, and the protection of the few who remain.
